Heatworld's Reader's Torso - Day 1

For those of you who don't know, the Heat website http://www.heatworld.com is currently running a competition whereby readers' blokes (or the readers themselves) send in torso shots to be voted on, with the ones scoring the highest votes getting published in the mag itself.

I dunno why but whoever is voting really doesn't have a clue. On day one this fittie:

Has only got 6% of the total vote and is languishing in 3rd place! I think they show 8 men per day, and it's probably too late for this guy to make it into the mag now which is a shame. You should check out the ones who have been voted higher!!

What is the polite ettiquette when you see a hunky and shirtless guy walking toward you?

Do you stare, as they obviously know what they are doing and like the attention? Or do you avert your eyes and have a few snatched, furtive glances?

I had this situation yesterday - was out shopping, a guy was walking in my direction with his top off (it was relatively warm but not really hot enough to justify it - wasn't complaining though!) and he had a really, really fit body. Muscular and well-built, lean enough to see abs but not scary-veiny-lean, and a nice dusting of light fur on his pecs and stomach. He was obviously a bit of a show-off and I admit, I looked.

Surely this is a mutually beneficial relationship? Symbiosis - we both get something out of it! Or probably I'm just a perve...

Top 10 Guys With iPhones

OK, so I've already made a post about the excellent/hot website Guyswithiphones which I'm sure a lot of people know about by now - just to recap, guys with iPhones take photos of themselves and post them in and other guys (with or without iPhones - I don't have an iPhone myself, dammit) post comments about them. Would Ya? Part One

OK, so I find it amusing when you see someone and initially you think "Mmm, hot!" then you have a double-take and you kind of think, "Hmmm, ehhh maybe, I dunno..." it's kind of second thoughts.

I refer to these as 'would ya's' as in, would ya do 'em - should be seen as separate from ones that are obviously hot as hell and you don't even need to think about it!

First in this series, just because I happened to catch some of it last night, is a guy called Steve Backshall who is a naturalist and nature programme presenter, who has been on a doc called Lost Land of the Volcano. (He's the one on the left in these pics):





As you can see, he's got a great body (must be all that rock climbing, swinging through trees and swimming in piranha-infested waters) but what do we think? Hot or not? Would ya?

Rav Wilding on Strictly Come Dancing

So Rav Wilding performed on Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC at the weekend. I didn't see it but I did see the 'dance-off' at the end between him and Martina Hingis, as they got the lowest score after the public vote.

Come on guys, why weren't you voting for sexy Rav?



Anyway, fortunately Rav was saved by the judges (well, 2 of them) so returns in a couple of weeks to dance again. We can only hope that each outfit will be tighter and skimpier than the last!

Erik Rhodes

This is my 4th porn-star related post, and this time it's Erik Rhodes' turn:

I like Erik - I've seen some people be really rude about him on the internet, saying he's a douchebag etc, and I really don't see any need for it - it's not like they even know him anyway. Perhaps they think they do because of his searingly honest blog (link in my blog selection on the right) but I read it from time to time and I just get the impression he's a depressed guy and doesn't really know how to cope with life. I think it's a bit odd that he has this totally dichotomous relationship with porn, in that he seems to hate it and what he's become doing it, yet doesn't really show much sign of stopping.



Then again, as one of Falcon's biggest stars, and considering they're one of the biggest gay porn studios, I think he should be proud of his achievements and perhaps be a little bit more gracious towards his fans who have put him there - but I dunno, I'm not a gay porn star so I can't comment. I just think it's a shame that there's someone who doesn't really seem to enjoy what they do, whereas a lot of other guys (including the ones I've commented on previously) genuinely seem to love it and have a lot of fun with it, which I find sexy.



Anyway, I think Erik is a cool guy, and while he's not really my type (I think he might be just a bit too bulky for me) I do think he's a handsome guy and a great performer. I wish him all the best and hope he finds a happy and content place to be, whether that's in porn or some other venture!



He's got really nice equipment though, so I think - play to your assets! Mind you, I didn't really enjoy the recent scene he did with Francois Sagat, in Ringside - not sure why as I thought they would be a good pairing, but I just didn't get much chemistry from it. I think Erik would go well with a slightly older guy.

Strictly Cum Dancing

I've never really watched Strictly Come Dancing because generally I find watching dancing pretty boring. I do however tend to get quite addicted to The X Factor, singing is much more entertaining overall.

Mind you, I don't like the new format of the X Factor auditions, I don't really understand why they changed it and I don't think it works. So I haven't been that bothered about watching it, just caught some of it since it started.

Meanwhile, BBC1 is obviously pinning a lot of hope on Strictly Come Dancing which has already had a great deal of controversy after the female judge Arlene Phillips was replaced with the much younger Alesha Dixon, she of ex-Misteeq and The Boy Does Nothing fame. Fortunately, they have roped in a good selection of interesting guests, including a few reasonably attractive male celebs, for a change! That might persude me to watch it a bit more! Rav Wilding (left) is more my type, though I can see why Hollyoaks' Ricky Whittle (right, with dance partner) has a certain appeal as well.

Apparently in practice, Rav has burst out of his trousers several times, and he's now got reinforced ones because his thighs are so thick! We likey.

I can't remember but I think it might be starting this Saturday, in which case I'll miss it as I'm at a wedding.

Pity poor Natalie Cassidy (better known as Sonia from Eastenders) as the look they've given her for the promo screams "DRAG QUEEN" more than the FIERCE she was no doubt aiming for. Hope for her sake she can get that sorted for the start of the show!
