Erik Rhodes

This is my 4th porn-star related post, and this time it's Erik Rhodes' turn:

I like Erik - I've seen some people be really rude about him on the internet, saying he's a douchebag etc, and I really don't see any need for it - it's not like they even know him anyway. Perhaps they think they do because of his searingly honest blog (link in my blog selection on the right) but I read it from time to time and I just get the impression he's a depressed guy and doesn't really know how to cope with life. I think it's a bit odd that he has this totally dichotomous relationship with porn, in that he seems to hate it and what he's become doing it, yet doesn't really show much sign of stopping.



Then again, as one of Falcon's biggest stars, and considering they're one of the biggest gay porn studios, I think he should be proud of his achievements and perhaps be a little bit more gracious towards his fans who have put him there - but I dunno, I'm not a gay porn star so I can't comment. I just think it's a shame that there's someone who doesn't really seem to enjoy what they do, whereas a lot of other guys (including the ones I've commented on previously) genuinely seem to love it and have a lot of fun with it, which I find sexy.



Anyway, I think Erik is a cool guy, and while he's not really my type (I think he might be just a bit too bulky for me) I do think he's a handsome guy and a great performer. I wish him all the best and hope he finds a happy and content place to be, whether that's in porn or some other venture!



He's got really nice equipment though, so I think - play to your assets! Mind you, I didn't really enjoy the recent scene he did with Francois Sagat, in Ringside - not sure why as I thought they would be a good pairing, but I just didn't get much chemistry from it. I think Erik would go well with a slightly older guy.

Francois Sagat

Third in a series of I don't know how many, I give you France's finest export, Francois Sagat:

Definitely one of the best porn stars around in my opinion - always looks uber hot and always gives good performances. I haven't really liked his very recent films as I haven't thought much of who he's been paired with (Matthew Rush recently for example, who I do not find at all attractive) but most of his other stuff is great. He has a really unique look (I suppose the tattoo is the main part of that) and although he's a bit odd and arty, that's kind of nice in a way as it shows he's not 1-dimensional.

I quite like the fact he doesn't take himself too seriously. There's something sexy about that.

Oh, and obviously he's pretty damn hot :-)

Pedro Andreas/Daniel Carlos

Another porn star (and one that is much more my type than the aforementioned Marco Blaze) that is fairly ubiquitous right now is Pedro Andreas, real name Daniel Carlos. He used to be one half of the power-porn-couple Marvin and Andreas, along with Daniel Marvin - but they split up earlier this year I think. Daniel Marvin is ok but Pedro is definitely the better of the two!

Not only is he good looking, has a great body, and er... nice equipment!!! But when he performs he really puts the effort in and looks like he's into it, which for me is important for it to be horny! I do have a few of his films now and the good thing is that the bf likes him too :-) If I'm being critical I don't really like his lip piercing and he often seems to wear that chunky chain around his neck which I'm not a fan of, but hey, that's nit-picking - plus I prefer when he's got a bit of a hairy chest.

Don't know much about him personally other than he's from Argentina I think... what is it about South America that produces good quality porn stars?? Where's all the UK studs, eh? About the only 'big name' English porn star I can think of is Ross Hurston - surely there's more of them around!

Marco Blaze

Funny how certain porn stars seem to become the 'man of the moment' for a while. One of them currently is Marco Blaze:


From what I've read, actually seems like quite a nice guy. Living in London at the moment and studying for a second degree, so not the young, dumb and hung stereotype which is nice. Plus, he's now one of my Facebook friends, hehe! Still waiting for Daniel Carlos though... :-)
